Start your career in events with Australia’s only specialist event management college

I was completing a Bachelor of Business majoring in Events Management but didn't find the course specific enough for what I wanted to gain. I switched to College of Event Management. From day one I was immersed in the world of event management. By having lecturers working in the industry and the work placement that is required, I believe there is an equal amount of theory and practice which no other college provides.

I couldn't recommend CoEM more to anyone looking to study event management! They are honestly the industry experts who have an abundance of knowledge to pass on to us students, plus all the staff are so supportive during your entire journey. Having studied Event Planning previously, I couldn't stress enough that CoEM will be the best decision you ever make career wise. The structure and layout of the course is smooth but extremely efficient and has worked well for me as somebody who is employed full time.

One of the best things about the course is the hands on experience. There are workshops where we do site visits with the class and have plenty of opportunities to connect with leading event organisations through volunteering. College of Event Management helps you to network with the right people to get you in any part of events that you'd like to go.

I've really enjoyed the course! Coming from doing a more theory-based University course, the Online PLUS course is more interactive and I feel more connected to my peers; which sets foundation for when we are employed in the industry. I also appreciate that teachers respond very quickly, are approachable, super friendly, supportive and always willingly to help! Most of all, everyone's very passionate and wants us to succeed. The Weekend Workshop has been a highlight of the course, I can't say there's been an excursion quite like it in my education so far. It was insightful and confirmed for me that the Events Industry is where I want to be.
