This course is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in the skills and knowledge required of an event manager. The program focusses on all aspects of event management via a relevant and specific event curriculum providing you with a flexible skill set that is relevant to many different industry roles and event types.
With a particular focus on the practical aspects of learning you will spend time out of the classroom observing events, meeting industry and seeing venues. Our Industry Engagement Program will connect you directly to the industry people that matter. Work experience, internships, volunteering and paid work experiences will give you the practical experience and industry connections needed for a successful start to your event career.

Online Plus Study Option
Our Online Plus study option gives you flexibility to study and work without sacrificing the practical components of the course. You will complete your online coursework progressively through our Cloud Campus while enjoying a high level of support and attention. You will experience regular interaction with lecturers and specialists from the industry. You will work on real events in your local area via our Industry Engagement program giving you the practical experience and networking opportunities you’ll need for employment.
On Campus Study Option
This course is an immersive and collaborative learning experience taught by education and event industry specialists. You will learn a combination of theory and practice in a simulated event office environment that reflects ‘event agency’ work practices. Classwork is balanced with time in the field learning from observation and working on real events where you will have countless opportunities to work as a short term volunteer. Internships and paid event roles are also on offer while you study via our Industry Engagement Program.

The Event Manager program will provide you with a comprehensive and flexible skill set that will allow you to find employment in various roles within different sectors of the industry.
